Ed Harris and Amy Madigan have been married since 1983. They were both in the 1984 movie 'Places in the Heart'. In that movie, they are each married to other people and the two couples as family by marriage, visit each other - but Ed & Amy's characters have an ongoing affair. In the film Pollack, Ed as Jackson, & Amy as Peggy have a business relationship and an extremely brief, momentary interlude is portrayed.
