The opening shot is the 1600 block of Broadway in Manhattan, with the Capitol Theatre on the left and the Rivoli Theatre on the right. During the fight outside "Mindy's" restaurant, a sign for Jack Dempsy's restaurant can be seen which was located at 1619 Broadway in the Brill Building. "Mindy's" is a substitute name for Lindy's restaurant which was located at 1655 Broadway.
