As of 2015, this is the only Batman film in which Bruce Wayne's love interest does not learn he is secretly Batman. Julie Madison here remains oblivious while Vicki Vale (Batman (1989)),Selina Kyle (Batman - Il ritorno (1992)), Chase Meridian (Batman Forever (1995)), Rachel Dawes (Batman Begins (2005) and Il cavaliere oscuro (2008) respectively), and both Miranda Tate and Selina Kyle in Il cavaliere oscuro - Il ritorno (2012) learn who Batman really is. However, another lead female character in this movie, Barbara Wilson/Batgirl, does discover his secret.
