Epilogue says that Curt Henderson (Richard Dreyfuss) now is a writer. In Stand by Me - Ricordo di un'estate (1986), another movie with a nostalgic vision of the 1950s - 1960s, Dreyfuss plays the adult version of the main character, who also is a writer. Scott Beach also appears in both movies, as well as some same songs in the soundtrack.
