When Todd first arrives at the airport in India, and is making his way through the group holding signs looking for people, the name on one of the signs says "Mr. Toad". Throughout the movie Todd's name is mispronounced at Toad. If he had been aware of this, Todd wouldn't have needed to hire a taxi.
