First of four films that Meryl Streep and Mike Nichols have made together. The movies include Silkwood (1983), Heartburn - Affari di cuore (1986), and Cartoline dall'inferno (1990). The two also collaborated on Angeli in America (2003) for television. Ironically it turns out Nichols and Streep are distantly related, according to a recent PBS report on genealogy.
