In his first film appearance at the age of 14, Grease - Brillantina (1978) actor Barry Pearl was cast to replace Barry Gordon when the film did location re-shoots in New York, following a disastrous test screening. For several of the distant shots, including Nick walking through New York holding a kite, that is actually Barry Pearl. in one shot he can clearly be glimpsed exiting a museum. Pearl revealed this at a Grease fan convention in 2021.
