Drake/Dracula offers to turn a little girl in the movie into a vampire under the pretext that she would be able to be a child eternally. This may be a subtle nod to Kirsten Dunst's character in 'Interview with the Vampire' where she plays a little girl who is turned into a vampire and remains physically a little girl, but emotionally she still ages and matures.
