Although many sentient/sapient species appear throughout the film, only three are identified by name, other than humans: The Drej (the antagonists), Akrenians (Preed's species), and the Gaoul. Production notes and tie-in material also identifies Stith as a Mantrin, and Gune as a Grepoan.
