Pakistani Cricketer & Bowler - Shoaib Akhtar was also offered & approached by the Mahesh Bhatt ; (he always wanted any Pak actor to act in the film) for the Daya's role in the film but he did'nt want to do an Indian Bollywood film & not want to do a "Gangster" role in the film, that's why he declined it. Mahesh Bhatt was also have a some little bit portion or part in him to signed many Pakistani Celebs like :- Mohsin Khan , Zeba Bhaktiar , Zahida Ranjan etc...many more in his earlier direction films also.
