The Schofield Kid has named himself after his Schofield model gun, and brags about having killed five men with it, which turns out to be a lie. However, his pistol does indeed kill five men after all: The Kid kills the cowboy himself, and William Munny shoots the four deputies with it. (Munny also kills Little Bill and Skinny, but with a rifle, not the Schofield pistol.)
