The film shares many similarities to Fatal Attraction (1987). Both are erotic thrillers starring Michael Douglas as a man who has a lascivious affair with a blonde vamp who sports a white dress and uses a stabbing weapon as her weapon of choice whilst a having a relationship with a woman named Beth (who coincidently both have surnames starting with the letter G and ending with the letters "er"; Beth Gallagher in FA and Beth Garner in BI).
