Much of the dialogue from the balcony scene had to be redone with ADR - due to the noises made from the lights on set. Olivia Hussey recalls storming out of one session, feeling frustrated, and spending some time talking with an older Italian man she ran into in the studio. She later found out that man was Federico Fellini.
