The motel room the '3 From Hell' are given when they arrive to Durango, Mexico is decorated with paintings of Emiliano Zapata. This is inaccurate. Emiliano Zapata was a warlord from Southern Mexico during the country's Revolution. The main warlord of the time from Northern Mexico was Doroteo Arango AKA Francisco "Pancho" Villa. To this day in Northern Mexico, Pancho Villa continues to be a legendary "folk hero", an idol, and a revered figure. Zapata is at best ignored and at worst reviled in Northern Mexico just like Villa in Southern Mexico.
