After the fight at the nursing home, Roy/Mr. Furious gets into a verbal altercation with a police officer, warning him to "don't mess with the volcano" and that he'll "go Pompeii" on him. These are references to the volcano Mount Vesuvius, which erupted in AD 79, completely destroying the Italian town of Pompeii.
