While Sunny Starscout believes in the importance of friendship, the film implies that she is not accustomed to having to deal with the emotions of her friends. While staying as a guest in Izzy Moonbow's house for the first time, Sunny rejects a friendly offer from Izzy because she wants to discuss strategy. Izzy is visually upset about being rejected, but Sunny fails to notice it.
