The film crew traveled almost 10,000 km in total. The filming took place in Budapest, Kaliningrad, Moscow, and Kamchatka. Complex water scenes were filmed outdoors at Origo Studios in Budapest. The new Terminator: Dark Fate was being shot at a pavilion nearby.
