After their performances as the two leads in the film 'Hannibal' as Clarice Starling and Hannibal Lecter, Julianne Moore and Anthony Hopkins each went on to win Academy Awards for portraying characters suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Julianne Moore won Best Actress for 'Still Alice', and Anthony Hopkins won for 'The Father'.
