The last line "Shut up and deal" was the punch line of a "Little Moron " joke. There was a bunch of terrible "Little Moron" jokes at the time. It started with "Why did the little moron get on the crowded bus?" The driver said "Room for one more on." It was all downhill from there leading to the Little Moron asking: "Mommy, why can't I go out and play with the other kids?" Mother: "Shut up and deal."
