No cases of any great importance.""Moved to plainclothes narcotics in 1978 when a friend from the academy was made CO of narcotics for Southeastern Queens.""In Queens, Styler quickly developed the ability to generate large sums of money in a short time by relieving drug dealers of their excess profits.""Styler became a member of the many cops in Queens who saw no reason to voucher all the money confiscated in a drug raid.""Two drug dealers in particular, Juan Garcia Lopez aka 'Ray' and Hector Rigado, both current residents in Riker's Island, will go on the record that Styler allowed them to escape in exchange for cash.""Styler lives in Whitestone, NY in a house worth about five years salary for an NYC cop.""He maintains a bank account at Dry Docks Savings and Loan, account # 277385 under the name of John Richardson.""Account balance as of 9/1/81 was $176,450.39.""Styler also owns a waterfront home in Pompano Beach, Florida that he paid $175,000 with out applying for a mortgage.""NYC Dept. of Motor Vehicles currently shows 4 cars with 2 boats titled to Adam Skyler, none are subject to any bank liens." It goes on to talk about gross tax income on federal tax returns.
