The unnamed TV show host - who is clearly supposed to be Red Skelton - ad-libs to Bela and throws him off, ruining Bela's performance. In real life, when Bela Lugosi appeared on The Red Skelton Show: Dial 'B' for Brush with guest performers Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney, Jr. & Vampira (1954) on June 15, 1954, Red did no such thing. Red Skelton would never sabotage the performance of a guest on his show. Nor did this ever happen to Lugosi on any other occasion.
