"It was really important to me that film spoke of a real place, a real town," said writer-director Marion Pilowsky of South Australia's capital city of Adelaide. "The one Ronnie [Emily Taheny] stayed in. She just couldn't see how wonderful it was. The grass is always greener is such a common syndrome and Adelaide is a beautiful, livable city with fantastic environs. I wanted to make sure we really showed it off."
