This marks the first time where two films in the Disney animated classics lineup have been theatrically released in the same year. Ie. Pinocchio (1940) released 10 months before this film. This would also be the only time up until 1977 (being The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977) and The Rescuers (1977)). This does not actually include 1942 in which Saludos Amigos (1942) was moved theatrically in the USA to February 1943.
