This is not the first time that Sir Anthony Hopkins played a doctor who aided the F.B.I. in catching a serial killer. Dr. Hannibal Lecter helped Agent Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster) in The Silence of the Lambs (1991) and Agent Will Graham (Edward Norton) in Red Dragon (2002).
