Near the beginning of the film, the princess is in bed, with a book about Alfred Hitchcock. Audrey Hepburn never got to make a film with Alfred Hitchcock. He had planned to make a film entitled "No Bail for the Judge" starring Hepburn, who had long admired his work, but it was never made. In 1959, a Paramount publicity brochure titled "Success in the Sixties!" had touted "No Bail for the Judge" as an upcoming feature film starring Hepburn to be filmed in Technicolor and VistaVision.
