At one point Michael J. Fox's character yells "I'm driving here, I'm driving here." In Ritorno al futuro - Parte II (1989), Marty McFly's son (Also played by Fox) utters a similar line: "I'm walking here, I'm walking here." The line is a nod to Un uomo da marciapiede (1969).
