When (at around 37 mins) Grand Moff Tarkin announces the dissolution of the Senate to Vader and the other officers, there are three empty chairs around the conference round table. One of them is occupied by Tarkin when he seats down, while the other at his right would be occupied by Darth Vader but he keeps stand up. The last one keeps empty. This absence was solved in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), revealing (presumably) that the empty seat belonged to Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), but he died on planet Scarif, previous to the events of this movie.
