Ms. Tanner only speaks to Susie three times throughout the whole film. The first time is when Susie arrives at the academy, the second time is before Susie's audition, and the last time is after Susie offers to dance the protagonist in Volk. The rest of the movie Ms. Tanner talks about Susie with Madame Blanc a great deal, but never directly speaks to her again.
