During the chopper chase scene, Pops blows up a tanker truck to cause an explosion to slow down the T-3000. You'll notice the logo is J&G Oil Com., the exact same truck that the Terminator in the first movie hijacks to mow down Sarah Connor which led to it being blown up and burning off the Terminator's flesh.
