The costumes and designs of the characters in the movie are directly based on Batman - Cavaliere della notte (1997), but the vehicles, like the Batmobile and the Batwing are as they appear in it's predecessor Batman (1992). In addition, when Batman, Nightwing, and Harley fly to Lousiana in the Batwing, the Shirley Walker theme from when the original show was retitled "The Adventures of Batman & Robin" can be heard in a new, rock-and-roll fashion.
