The film's script originally intended to have Dracula drink the Frankenstein Monster's blood and turn him into a vampire slave so that the Monster could better serve Dracula's purposes. This (admittedly original) idea was scrapped, however, when the fangs kept falling out of actor John Bloom's mouth because he could not keep them in it due to the heavy makeup he wore when he played the Monster.
