This was the fifth film in which Oscar winner Jon Voight appeared in in 1997. The others include "Anaconda", "U-Turn" and "John Grisham's The Rainmaker." Like this one, Voight played a villain or a villainous character in those films. The only film in which Voight played a good guy or noble character was in "Rosewood" directed by the late John Singleton.
