This film contains a scene that may be a thinly veiled spoof on the CSI story-universe, and how CSI forensic investigations are portrayed. In the real world, globally across most agencies, the equivalent CSI staff at a crime scene, and in the lab, would usually be wearing head to toe "forensic boilersuits", similar to those seen in microchip manufacturing clean rooms, to avoid contaminating evidence. A scene in the film "Hot Fuzz" spoofs the fact that the crime scene investigators would actually be virtually indistinguishable at the scene, unlike many tv and film portrayals where the CSI are dressed in normal clothes at a crime scene.
