In Golmal (2006) Sharman Joshi plays role of a student (Laxman) living in a hostel , his room is seen filled with posters of women scantily dressed. In 3 idiots (2009) Sharman Joshi (Raju) is seen praying to God and is later ridiculed that he might be praying now but given time, he'll be applying posters of naked women on the room walls. This is a reference to Golmal.
