The chase scene in the mines bears a striking resemblance to three chase sequences from the Indiana Jones movies. These includes the jungle chase scene in 'The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' and two chase scenes from 'The Temple of Doom' - the mine cart scene and the satchel wrestling scene on the fallen bridge. The parts of the chase where Dwayne Johnson or Ryan Reynolds are leaning out of their car as rocks or other cars come at them are an homage to "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
