In Mulan (1998), Eddie Murphy voices Mushu, a dragon. In DreamWorks Animation's Shrek (2001) and its sequels, Murphy's character Donkey falls in love with a dragon (whose vocal effects were provided by Frank Welker, the voice of Mushu's companions Crikee and Khan in this film).
