In 2019, when actor Robert Blake was asked how he felt about the cops who "kept him locked up in the cement box" i.e. the jail during his trial, he responded, "I'm still here, you bastards. I'm still here," which, despite Blake not crediting this movie outright, is exactly what Steve McQueen says to his jailers in isolation.
