The cast featured the stars of two other "Bold Ones" segments: E.G. Marshall of I nuovi medici (1969) as Senator Holden Stowe, and Joseph Campanella of The Bold Ones: The Lawyers (1969) as Stowe's advisor Jordan Boyle. When the movie went to series, those roles were recast with Jon Lormer as Holden Stowe and Michael Tolan as Jordan Boyle.
