When N.A.S.A.'s Pioneer space probe is intercepted by The Intergalactic Council of Superior Beings, Sharon (John Cleese) removes Pioneer's famous golden plaque showing two human forms and adds it to a large collection of similar plaques from other intercepted alien probes. One of these features the the pair of distinctive one-eyed aliens who accidentally picked up Brian of Nazareth (Graham Chapman) during a visit to Earth in 33 A.D. in Monty Python's Life of Brian (1979). The remains of Pioneer are unceremoniously tossed onto a big pile of spaceships atop which the alien craft from Monty Python's Life of Brian can be seen.
