The sunglasses that Matthias Schoenaerts' Paul wears throughout the film, is a reissue of the Vuarnet 006 sunglasses worn by Alain Delon in La piscina (1969), which became a sensation at the time. Vuarnet didn't pay for the product placement in A Bigger Splash.
