During the speedboat chase, the well-known Dutch movie critic Simon van Collem can be seen several times in a pedal boat together with Inge Beekman, the mother of director Dick Maas. Both people had also made a cameo as a couple in Maas' previous movie Arrivano i Flodder (1986).
