Mark Hamill was twenty-five when he played a nineteen-year-old Luke Skywalker. By the time Il ritorno dello Jedi (1983), set four years after this movie, came to filming, Hamill was thirty-one. When he returned to play the role of the fifty-three-year-old Luke for Star Wars - Il risveglio della Forza (2015), he was sixty-three.
