Yoshiaki Koizumi, a game designer at Nintendo, called "Run Lola Run" one of the main inspirations for the idea behind "Zeruda no densetsu: Mujura no kamen (2000)," which was released on Nintendo 64 in the year 2000. Like "Run Lola Run," the game is centered around the experience of time rewinding. This rewinding causes the player to experience the same days and events repeatedly until the player eventually gains enough experience and expertise to achieve their main goal.
