Meanwhile, the movie's writers have opened up about a detail in the final battle that fans may have missed, explaining that the moment where the gauntlet is run across the battlefield is undertaken mostly by the heroes that weren't in the rest of the movie. "You'll notice that most of the people doing the heavy lifting in that sequence are not the ones you've spent two hours with, it's the ones who just got there, because it's the only time they're going to get any screen time," Stephen McFeely told Slash Film.
