Was originally titled "Dos Mestizos." "Dos Mestizos" translates roughly as "Two Mixed Race," a reference to the two Filipino-American (caucasian) brothers Magnus and Maxim, the sons of an American father who is never seen and a Filipino mother. The film's final title is inspired by the 1998 Lucinda Williams song, "2 Kool 2 Be 4-gotten".
