As soon as Aliens came out Hasbro and other toy manufacturers started making xenomorph toys for kids, in the 1980s, which were very popular back then. There was even an Aliens cereal! There's even xenomorph stuffed animals now! It would be years before toys were created for The Thing, and they weren't geared towards children.
