This film had been in development for several years and was held up by Disney buying out 20th Century Fox in 2017. This explains why it was released by 'Fox Searchlight', as Fox had a co-funding deal in place for several years with TSG media. As this project was one of the slate of films TSG had been attached to prior to the takeover this explains why their logo is included. Fox Searchlight is in fact only a shell company that Disney inherited and are using for more experimental and arthouse leaning releases in much the same way that 20th Century Fox did when they were the parent company.
