'Red Dragon' is the most adapted novel by Thomas Harris. It has been adapted three times, first as Manhunter - Frammenti di un omicidio (1986) by Michael Mann; second as this movie by Brett Ratner; and third as the second half of the third season of Hannibal (2013) by Bryan Fuller. Each version features a different actor playing Francis Dolarhyde, Will Graham, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, and Agent Jack Crawford.
