There are small subtleties in this production that were inspired by Ayrton Senna, like the uniform worn by the protagonist team and the colors of the car, which directly refer to the most famous McLaren in history. However, few know that the character Memo Moreno, played by the Chilean actor Cristián de la Fuente would be a tribute to the director Renny Harlin. Secondary in the plot, Nemo is Brazilian and even calls Stallone a "amigo" (friend in English).
