The Wonders (Oneders), were loosely based on a band from the D.C. area in 1964 called the 'Chartbusters'. They had a few hit singles and played several gigs with bands such as the Animals and Jan & Dean. The Chartbusters had a sound similar to the Beatles Mersey beat sound.
